Brake Upgrade/ rebuild

What options have people used to upgrade the brakes on their SC?
I've had a price on new calipers all round and 300mm front disks, but at £2300 inv vat I think these may be out of budget.
My SC is being backdated to a pre 73, will weigh just under 1000 kg, 220 bhp and wearing 15" Fuchs.

when i bought mine, I just went for a renewal of the standard existing lines, calipers, discs and pads, the difference before and after was no contest.

I don't think they were ever the greatest brakes, but they sure stop well now, I borrowed a friends 3.2, and they are definitely a grade up from the sc, maybe model your brakes on the 3.2 standard.
