Does anyone use extra car theft security, mine has the Thatcham as factory, should I be doing more as a belt and braces option?

Hi, I’ve just purchased a Boxster and will probably get a Ghost immobiliser and a Disklock too.
It’s my first convertible so am extra cautious

Hi, also I’ve looked into a Trutrak tracker. Self installation and only £40 and payg subscription.

The trouble with a tracker is they have already stolen it, the idea behind a ghost is that they cannot start the car at all.

It's easier to break into a house and steal keys then to steal your car without them. I found this out the hard way when my Cayman got nicked.

Make sure your home is secured and keys kept in a secure location. Somewhere between Fort Knox and Home Alone should do the job.

As above.
Save your money rather than pay out for after market gadgetry.
