There I was coming back from work today through the pouring rain when (after owning my 964 for a year now AND 10,000 miles) I discovered that the car has THREE speed wipers rather than two....what do you know, eh!!

It took me quite a while (and involved giving up and reading the manual!) before I worked out why the intermittent control didn't seem to work on the first wiper speed...
