Inability to PM # RESOLVED

I'm trying to PM another member (chaser) but don't seem to have the option. Am I missing something...?

hiya Rob, this is the start conversation button for all member to member DM's

noting that members with zero forum posts can not start conversations with members, so as to avoid spam messages being sent

Many thanks - I don’t have that option. I thought it might be that but I have posted and DM’d in the past. Has this been reset with the new forum?

It was in the set up options, there are many and as a default it was zero and should have been 1

note to users, again this is how the site now operates
to access all conversations

the alert at this time only shows unread messages (which is still picking up all the old messages) but at the bottom of the list you will see

with show all showing you all the DM's
