How exactly do you arrange a PPI?

Having just about parted with my 964, I'm contemplating a 981 Cayman as a replacement. There are a few scattered around the country, but none particularly close to the North East.

So having looked at a bunch of pictures and the odd video, I'd need to ensure the car is "sound", i.e. I'd like a PPI. But how do you locate a credible Porsche specialist to carry out the PPI?

Are there such things as lists regional specialists or do I just post on the forum, "anyone know of a PPI specialist in XYZ"? Is it reasonable to trust the local OPC to carry out the PPI?
