This is an EV thread but dear god! Conspiracy theory running riot here. I totally accept Gov science is not always to be trusted - donors and the legislature have always corrupted policy to some extent as well as the vox populi (Daily Mail not helping).

It's impossible to prove everything, but science in and of itself has to be proved against the best possible evidence. Recent example of the crab die-off in the NE (personally I'm not convinced on the official Gov position), but time will tell and the truth will hopefully prevail.

But there's a sinister thing going on which I can't explain.......

like what happened to people like the 'Coast Guy' for example......I mean what the hell happened to him :dont know:

But it does prove the point that where there's muck there's gold - as long as you're prepared to 'sell your soul' on GB news etc. :grin:

I keep tabs on local planning application and imagine my surprise when a recent application by my local football club (Marine) to install x4 electric car chargers in their car park (which is public pay and display on none match days) was rejected.......the reason ........the local infrastructure cannot support additional electrical demand :floor: FFS you could not make this sh!t up.......we have zero public car chargers in one of the wealthiest suburbs of a major city and the local council are rejecting applications :hand:

Surely not, the msm in this country is about neutrality and putting both sides across no matter if they disagree with the current government narrative.

To suggest that the MSM only allows what the think tanks say they should be promoting is just crazy talk.

Or are you suggesting that the government is allowing pseudo-science(tm) to change peoples behaviour and thought process on certain matters? I wonder where we have seen this in action before and what other topics of current interest this is happening in if that's the case :?: Now youve got me thinking, i wonder if this happened during a certain event that occured between 2020-22 but surely not, we cant have been duped on that, can we?!?!

There's enough recognised experts out their who believe the CAGW is nonsense. I'm in their camp.

And before anyone mentions 97% consensus, that's been proven time and time again it was a big fat lie.

OK, so that's why you distrust the government on climate change science but you whole heartedly believed them over covid, whys that? Could it be that you feared covid and blindly trusted them, same way as all these brainwashed youngsters and the cc fear porn?

No, I got it back in March 2020 and it nearly killed me. Before that I just thought it was a load of tosh.

As for the end game and agenda, I don't know why. All I know is most the stuff they say are lies around what's happening with the climate and why (if you look deep enough in to it).
