I've decided to sell my black 2002 996 Turbo tip-tronic, with dark interior. It is a late '52 plate has 90k miles and is well specified, including ruffled leather, sunroof, and even the wired phone (not that I use it!).

It is an excellent example, having had the following items carried during my ownership over the past year:

  • New turbos, turbo oil sumps, all turbo oil pipes. This was done because one of the turbos had a hole in it's casing (common problem due to location of the turbos), so I decided to do everything.

All manifold/turbo nuts/bolts changed for stainless items. This was a BIG job and mainly done because the Porsche items looked in very bad shape. It now looks SO much better underneath.

New Bilstein front and rear shocks, new Porsche springs, new strut mounts

New front and rear control arms (8 in total)

New Porsche front and rear brake discs, new brake pads all round

New Bosch MAF (nothing was wrong with the old one, but I had a new one from a previous 996 turbo lying around)

2 x new engine mounts (Porsche)

2 x oil and filter changes

... and probably a bunch of other things I've missed (I'm an enthusiast and tend to do stuff even if they don't need doing!).

All of this work was carried out over the last 2,000 miles or so, and a lot was mainly done to freshen things up. The car comes with an extensive history (mainly Porsche and specialist), and has had a major service shortly before my ownership (plugs, filters, etc.) at 87k miles.

I've also fitted a Dension Gateway for Bluetooth connectivity, however, I've found it can be a little temperamental at times, and sometimes needs repairing to get both voice and audio to work.

I've always kept the car in my garage during my ownership (coming up to 1.5 years) and only used on dry days. It drives amazingly well and is very fast. The torque is incredible. The gear changes are smooth and accurate, and the 4wd system works as expected. No odd noises from the suspension (since nearly all of it has been renewed!).

Please message me if you're interested. I'm looking to take delivery of a 997 GT3 RS and I'm not allowed to keep both!

£29,995 OVNO.

I am based in South Bucks.

I do have some, but not worthy of posting up. Once the weather clears up, I'll get some better shots.

I'll see what I have on my phone and post any good ones up.

Some quick pics I took this morning. Will get some of the interior up soon.

Was looking through the service history this morning, all the radiators have been changed. Lots of history / Porsche invoices are also present.
