I'm quite a user of eBay, as both a buyer and a seller, both as a consumer and also a registered business (ran my last business for 6 years on there before going back into Engineering).
Anyway, cut to the chase - I thought I'd start a thread with some of the items on there I believe have been good value for money (for the price) compared with some of the prices for parts, etc. that some places charge. Please feel free to add your own links to items, or if you find a better deal, etc.
Great effort. I love the idea of beating the system - same for less... Otherwise known as avoiding the porsche tax.
Plus some fun fitting it all yourself.... These are good cars to work on IMHO - well put tighter and come apart and go back together quite nicely.
For the AC condensers, it mentions that it doesn't come with the o-rings and seals. As you've already fitted these, do you happen to remember the part number for the seals?

Re: the O' Rings, I ordered my condensors for £78 a pair from eBay seller Tameside Radiators and asked for O'Rings to suit who threw in them in FOC. I know ZenBen ordered his from the same seller who also supplied him the bolts connecting the pipes to condensors FOC
Can you post the eBay link for other members to easily find them. I know some people can struggle a bit on eBay when there's so many choices and variants.

Second link for condensers from Tameside Radiators as there are two types. Pipes either enter & exit the same side or enter one side and exit the others as my later 2004 C4S. Any doubts phone Ric, nice and helpful chap
