Odometer 125k, engine rebuilt at about 110k by previous owner
About to do my first oil change since buying the car (June 17)
Think it has Mobil one in it now
Switching to Millers CW 10w50 nano +
I put this in per their requirements re. running in the engine after their rebuild... and have used it ever since
- I either replace the oil once a year or every 10,000 miles
Tires, brakes and oil are the first places you should spend your money

Not arguing, but genuinely curious why we'd want a more viscous oil at cold start, hence less start-up lubrication?
FWIW I use the boggo Mobil 3000 standard spec 5w-40 oil that comes with my indy menu servicing. Happy to be advised to the contrary if there is a benefit. Used Millers Nano one year, noticed no difference at all to the way the car ran though of course thats only part of the story...
My mate argues this point. He reckons less viscous gets round the engine quicker when initially started and would prevent wear. Counter arguement is thicker when cold takes more of the clearance up on worn parts. :dont know:
