Up at sunrise on the icy cold Brecon Beacons for one last run in the 3.8 before winter.
Planned out a route over dinner at the Felin Fach Griffin and had to scrape the windshield clear at 6:30am before heading out to crisscross the most talked about roads from the A4560 in the East onward to the Black Mountain Pass in the West. Managed to get back just in time for breakfast and out to do it all again at a slower pace once Wales had woken.
would love a drive up there perhaps an early morning meet .the roads around where I live .upminster in Essex are over populated and pardon the exspression *****
Most definitely get there the night before. You'll want to be out before the roads get busy. I'd have one eye on the temperature now as it was very cold, wouldn't fancy being up there with icy patches on the road surface.
