997.1/.2 :: List of (professional) reviews

Car and Driver have published their annual Lightening Lap times for 2019 at Virginia International Raceway (VIR) - https://www.caranddriver.com/features/a29392932/lightning-lap-2019/

This year they ran a 991.2 Carrera T and a 991.2 GT3RS. See attached image for how they and other Porsches (including the 997) have stacked up over the years...

Motor Trend has also published their annual Best Drivers Car for 2019, which includes lap times at Laguna Seca: https://www.motortrend.com/news/2019-best-drivers-car-introduction/

This year they ran a 992 Carrera S. See attached image for how it and other Porsches (including the 997) have stacked up over the years at Laguna Seca from professional reviews...

Hi folks,

Unfortunately I can't add any more reviews to the top post.

The reason is that there is a size limit on the size of any individual posts due to the age of the Forum software.

And even through the list was split between two posts (the first for Carrera models, the second for the Turbo and GT models), I've just hit those limits when trying to add new reviews today.

All I can offer is a link to the same content on Rennlist, that I'll be updating as new reviews come in:

Hallelujah!

The complete SW overhaul of this site have removed the previous limitations on pst sizes, and I can now add additional reviews to the top post.

I won't enumerate them all, but have added links to 50+ additional articles and videos to the top post of this thread.
