What did you buy your 993 this week ?

Yes, the dull one looks right. Once in the engine bay it will look new compared to everything else in there.

Cheers Tyinsky was hoping that wasn't the reason they were so cheap :thumb:

These arrived today also. Just need to find the thread that confirms which brand of cap and rotors to go with.

Bought a new compressor from the US ebay outfit.

Existing one is working fine but planning a project to freshen up the engine bay...OCD at its finest

It not as shinny as I was expecting..... :frustrated:

Assume they are all like this :dont know:

I need to order one, all good with the delivery etc?

Yeah all good. Came in around 5 days. All in cost was £215 so can't really complain too much at that price.

4x pirelli sottozero's fitted to my cup 2s and the cup 2s on for the winter. Very happy with the tyres on first impression driving home in foul weather last night.

Winter project to polish my Work rims.

Also a new Yuasa battery as my last one was at 14% life. Think it might have been the original!

Bergville LED Upgrade Kit, and Rear Fog to Brake Conversion kit..

..and recycled a bit [around 2pm today] that I replaced a few weeks back.. 8)

Finally sorted that annoying buzz/rattle/whine coming from behind the Heater Control Unit, by replacing the knackered original impeller motor with a new Bervill FX unit..

https://www.bergvillfx.com/index.php/fan-porsche-964-993-climate-control-unit.html

"Expensive" as it may seem/be, the guy has to make a living and the Unit now purrs like a Kitten.. Really love the Bergvill solutions in aiding the 993 adapt to the Modern World..

Nice, thanks.

Looking at your video, you should remove the fluff from the interior sensor. That amount of fluff will seriously impact the unit's ability to regulate the cabin temperature.
Cheers,
Tore

Thanks 8) Can I hoover this or is it best to remove the unit, disassemble and clean from the inside..?

Also, what is your Instagram Handle as I couldn't tag you in my post about this..
