As some of you maybe read last year I had some serious oil pressure issues with my car, I also had a lot of metal fragments in my oil filter, I had only had the car a few months before noticing this, I bought the car without a proper inspection etc so you pay your money and take your chance, I thought the car was cheap enough that's why I didn't get the PPI done.
After some thought I decided I was going to keep the car and get the engine rebuilt, the car went down to Hartech for the rebuild as my thoughts were if I'm spending good money on a rebuild I want it done by a company that specialise in this and I know myself its done right and I'm not waiting on something else engine wise letting go.
Anyway I have to say Grant at Hartech was excellent to deal with, everything from collection right through to delivery of my car was effortless, I've done a few miles with the car now just running it in but already it feels totally different but that was probably more to do with a few underlying problem that Grant and his team had to deal with.
Again if anyone finds thereself in the same position as me, the first thing I did was a little research into second hand engines but most are around 100k which I'm led to believe is rebuild territory, I then started looking about various garages/companies to see what my options were regarding a rebuild in the end I went with Hartech after speaking with Grant. If anyone is in this position I personally would recommend Hartech highly
