Has anyone fitted one - after market

Easy hard - how much roughly

Keen to add to mine and thought welcomed

A SportDesign package was an available option from new

As Tony said, there was an OE 'Sport Design' kit offered, which included an extended front chin spoiler and rear Ducktail: Porsche said you needed to have both for correct aero however, many have fitted the rear ducktail on its own.

From what I've heard, the OE version is of slightly higher quality than aftermarket (which might require slight fettling). Worth trying the usual suspects like Design911, Suncoast Parts (USA), as well as OPC to see if they'll sell you the ducktail alone and always worth asking for a 10% club/forum discount :thumb:

Not hard to fit but obviously you'll have to swap the brake light, code off the auto rear spoiler and for cars that have a sunroof, you're supposed to fit an alternative sunroof control module (which changes how the sunroof opens at speed) - again some people have followed the Porsche line and some haven't.

Price wise I'd say roughly £2-2500 depending on whether you add the module or not.

I fitted one to mine and it was a fair bit of effort, it didn't fit well from the factory. Not sure if I'd go through it again, but its definitely doable. I haven't been able to find a garage that was able to disable 2 errors on the dash, despite having all the right tools and factory instructions. I'd say 2.5k is pretty accurate. There are a few extra parts needed.

I would have thought you need to code the maintenance of vehicle data to fixed spoiler .. you then select every control unit and hit auto code with a Piwis 3 .

Any faults after that and i would investigate the fault codes you have .

To switch the warning light off for the spoiler delete.

2.5k just for a little spoiler that is none functional even...

I don't want to say it but I get my parts manufactured by a company that I've been dealing with for over 10 years I could have gotten that for way cheaper.

My carrera s conversion I done to a Carrera RS with a GT2RS Engine Lid with the Carbon Fixed Wing Spoiler would have cost in total probably way cheaper. Anyway contact Ninemeister and ask to speak to Peter and book your car in they can take care of the warning light system that triggers on for you as nobody could do it but Ninemeister setup my car with perfection & she drives like a dream now. No waring lights come on the dash that annoy you.

Good Luck
