She was a last of the line W-chassis ('98MY) with 43k miles. Wanted to sell her privately, but buyers only wanted to pay mid-20's for a narrow body. So I did a deal with the dealer and p/xd it against the GT3. All-in, the dealer gave me circa £29k considering the upgrade cost which I thought was good. The dealer sold the C4 within a week for £32k complete with warranty etc. I don't think *knowledgeable* buyers should pay over £30k for a narrow body 993 on a private sale unless it has extremely low mileage (<25k miles?), or ... at least I wouldn't. For £30k+, I'd look for a widebody.

GT3 = ecstasy on wheels!!! :twisted:
GT1 sourced engine is a marvel with more character than the aircooled 6, and the chassis/ride/handling is astounding... hope to give her a good work out at Bedford and Oulton Park in March... She's the perfect blend of civility and pure raw aggression.

I agree with you 30k+ is C2S/C4S and Turbo money !

I was offered a C2 97/P with 59,000 miles in silver, for £27k, but just cant stretch that far..

And with 94>95 with 100k + making £20k, just seems I am looking for a 95>96 with around 70-80,000 miles for my budget of £23-24k !

But trying to find one is proving hard !

I was just talking to Ajit about it last weekend, and I suspect it really was a cherished example whilst in his ownership (5/6 years IIRC).

Sale price might be a bit lower than asking given the mileage... make em an offer - you never know!
