Cv boot warranty ?

My 2016 991.2 c4s has just had an advisory come up on mot for a couple boot front o/s

Any idea if this would be covered on my porsche warranty ?

Local opc are saying I need a 1hr diagnostic at 246 quid to check it and decide if its warranty .

Anyone know if these are usually a warranty item ?

No, it's a consumable item and 8 years is about their life. It's only a 2 hour job to replace and less than £100 for parts.

I suspected as much.

Been quoted 4.5h labor and about 100 on parts.

I've had both mine done. One by an OPC, one by an Indy. They both charged two hours labour.
