Hi
My current mechanic has told me clutch needs replacing on 997.1 but says specialist job can anybody give me some ball park figure or amount of labour(hours) as sure can get new clutch for less than £400
Sorry new to this only had car 7 weeks and 6 of that been in body shop having complete re spray

You can get a Sachs clutch for around £250 and then another 8 hours for labour, top end.

If you need flywheel as well, they're about £450 for the whole kit including clutch plate as well.

Easy enough job for any mechanic. Just drop the gearbox, swap the clutch, then pop the bob back on.

Thats Great thanks
Hope to be back on road and mot'd in next couple of weeks, replaced front bumper and all lights so got couple of bugs showing on dash, but goes like a dream

Oh last one if you could help, drivers side window drops 20mm when opening door but doesnt go back up when closed, i have to manually push internal switch, have tried to lower window and keep button pressed 5 secs and again on the closed position but this does not sort issue, have also replaced car battery.
Thanks Gaz
