Bye bye tyre

So fixed it now, and went out today to scrub the new one in.

Oh.

Not having much luck am I? Must have disturbed the luber when the wheel came out. DOH

I recently bought this original and unrestored 1980 Kawasaki KH250 B5

Used to do a bit of sponsorship back in the day.

Now that is a proper bike! John Britten was a real genius, taken from this world far too soon. I remember watching Nick riding that at Donington Park in 93-94, still the best sounding bike outside of a Moto GP V5 990 Honda.

+1

From memory I don't think any of the Brittan's finished the TT first year out. Think it took a couple of goes for them to get a finish. Agree John was taken too soon. I think the no7 bike that Nick rode in the picture is now in the states somewhere in private ownership.

Wish I'd kept this. One of the very first revolutionary Blades to come to the UK on a 'J' plate. Bought in 2005 and sold it in 2009 for peanuts after a light resto/back to standard campaign, only 18K miles on the clock. Must be worth £5K plus now! Hope my VFR does the same!

I bought this beast about 6 months ago. It's one of the last Buell XB12's. On a 59 plate with 4K on the clock.

Nice Pegaso. That's the one with the XT660 lump isn't it?

I'm in the market for a nice Kawasaki ZRX1200 or Yamaha XJR 1300SP if anyone knows of one that may be available and reasonably priced. :thumb:

Yes arrry, not the smoothest of motors but the aprilia is a nice agile bike so it's run to ride.
