Thats a neat solution!

Boy, that must have added some weight to the old girl! Doesn't she list to port like buggery!!?? Centre of gravity gone all to pot!!?? :floor:

Very nice!!!! :thumb: (I'm assuming they're guaranteed to stay firmly stuck?) :eh!:

I'd freak if a car with a bike stuck on like that pulled out in front of me

... Are you sure it's safe....?

They've been tested on a NASCAR at 140mph, with two bikes, on the roof.
They recommend no faster than 85 mph.
I've seen triple glazed windows, 4 times my weight lifted 4 stories up by crane, using the same principle on Grand Designs, and they never let go.
My bike weighs 8kgs, I think it will hold.

Some crazy wheels on that bicycle  wouldn't like to get a finger caught in those!

Glad it works for you. There's no way I'd use that, no matter how many endorsements or safety certificates it received.

I'm sorry - close up pictures of a carbon bike on the roof of a GT3 with carbon rear spolier - moderators please mark this posting as 'Porn' immediately.....!

I just opened this thread at work and may now need to have a 'conversation' with HR.... again!

OMG.....I have nothing else, honestly, nothing.......

Bike, rack or car ? :floor:

How is it at speed?

I wouldn't use one, I don't think I would trust it. I like to have my bikes bolted to the car. (not knocking your choice to use one though)

Hope it all holds well and there is never a 'Damn bike carrier failed on the motorway' thread.
