Replacement of boot & bonnet struts on 930

I have just been reading how difficult it appears to replace bonnet and boot struts on a 996.
My 1989 930 desperately needs replacement struts both front and rear. Is it just as difficult on a 930?
Presumably I need the heavy duty particularly on the engine compartment because of the spoiler and intercooler?
Anyone replaced their 930 struts?
