When I saw this, I thought it was a wind up ! apparently not !!

These are the first pictures of the Porsche Panamera racer, which is being prepared by multiple touring car title winners N.Technology and Porsche Racing.

The car, which has an aluminium spaceframe that has been under construction since February, is powered by a 450bhp 4.8-litre V8 - up 50bhp on the Panamera S but down 50bhp on the Panamera Turbo.

It weighs 1320kg - down 550kg on the standard car.

The car will be driven in the Superstar racing series by eight-time touring car champion Fabrizio Giovanardi. The team will make its debut at Hockenheim in Germany, on 13 June.
