It's the hotly-anticipated 2012 Porsche Panamera GTS, although eill it be a true BMW M5 rival...

Based on its Panamera S/4S sister model with a modified 4.8-litre naturally aspirated V8 that delivers 30bhp more resulting in 430bhp, we can now also confirm it develops 384lb-ft of torque (an increase of 15lb-ft).

All four wheels are permanently sent power via the PDK seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, and combined with the Sport Chrono package, which features as standard, the GTS manages a top speed of 179mph and can sprint from 0-62mph in 4.5 seconds. The chassis of the GTS, with adaptive air suspension and Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), has been designed with track racing in mind. Agility and stability have been improved accordingly with tauter damping, and 5mm thick wheel-spacers increases rear track width; the body has also been lowered by 10mm and sits on standard 19-inch alloys.

The distinctive red caliper brakes off the Turbo have been fitted on the GTS, and from a cosmetic perspective there are plenty of unique design features such as the black highlights, and the interior has a sporty feel with SportDesign steering wheel, bucket seats and exclusive GTS leather and Alcantara surfaces.

no amount of slick marketing can make that a good looking car...

still wouldn't mind one though as a daily driver. uh:

The range almost has all the bases covered as soon as they release the R, GT3 and GT3 RS models

still a 2wd RWD GTS is a missing opportunity IMHO
