Incoming...now outgoing...bye bye Rivblu
Great to hear that my next 911 is so much fun. :thumb:

Am I right in thinking that 95% of the time a 991C4S would be all the 911 anyone would ever need and that a Turbo just gives that other 5%. :?:
Need yes...Want no...I know as soon I get into the T, warm it up and then press the go peddle I'll be giggling like a kid again. In the uk that 5% reduces, mix in the European miles and it grows.

Driving them back to back the 4 does seem slower as you'd expect, but there was no point on those mixed Welsh roads that I thought "going noticeably quicker here would be necessary" (or a good idea). Both are 4 wheel drive, but the turbo makes you conform to that old adage slow in fast out as its ability to accelerate is bonkers.

First outing for little #rivblu991 @ todays southern breakfast meet at TheDepartureLoungeCafe.

1/18 Model is by GT Spirit from 2015. Limited to 1000 units. it's a riv blue 991 C4s exactly same as my car left the factory in 2014 including the customised alloys and factory aerokit options. Sourced in fun off eBay in Australia after contributing to a riviera blue thread on here with a few beers! Random but a bit of fun.

1600 miles in 5 days France, Stuttgart, Erlangen, Brugge to be a wedding car at a pals wedding out in rural east Germany. Car is epic on these long trips at very high speeds. Absolutely planted. Big wedding weekend and drove back without any dramas. The n/a engine through all the tunnels and on the proper twisty rural blasts made the trip worthwhile :thumb:

Absolutely :thumb:
How did you get on? I

Great day. Strong progression and nobody had any problems. Lots of sessions mixed in with GT cars so the soundtrack was great.

Weather Stayed dry and warm. Car achieved 10pmg :thumb:

Anyone heading out on track tomorrow is in for a treat as the track is in great condition.

Nice picture.

I did a track day there earlier in the year and had an equally good day. I was acutely aware of how fast the track was and the zero run off into solid tyre walls.
Glad there were no problems.

You definately need to be precise at goodwood. Late afternoon we had a couple of kamikaze pheasants between st Mary's and Lavant corner which was an odd distraction....only at goodwood are the seagulls in dinner jackets

Hi. New to this subforum but not to the site. Looking forward to a new chapter in porsche ownership as I've added a 991 to the garage.

991.1 c4s in Riv Blue with the aero kit. Car is originally from the Leeds area.

Does anyone know it?

Looking at this im seriously considering the side decals and full rear spoiler in addition to the duck :worship:

Black over yellow will look very good. The contrast makes it very striking. I know you are thinking of green on the car, I'd not go for green on the sides as it just is not as good as green stripes on the bonnet/roof etc.
