Just got back from a nice trip, 1502 Kms so the old girl had a good outing and didn't miss a beat Visited Granada, Seville and Cortoba where we did all the sight seeing stuff. The Alhambra, The Alcazar and the Mezquita, those Moors built some amazing buildings during their 800 years in Spain.
The car even experienced some heavy rain so I've done it all now, putting miles on the car and taking it out in the rain. Today she will be cleaned within an inch of her life
Some great scenery to be seen on the journey, I would recommend it if you are in the area.
ATB
PS That is not my misses in the second pic, the woman just happened to pop into my pic
Yep bit embarrassing that the 3 hotels we stayed at were all about a 20 minute walk for the sights so no action pics of the car and the sights.... sorry. I just left the car in the hotel car park. I suppose I should have stopped along the way and taken some but I was enjoying the drive so much I didn't think to stop. The roads were just fantastic and so little traffic.
However, I'm attaching a shot from a previous trip to Cuenca, not the same I know but better than nothing.
Note to self, remember to take car pics on outings :wack:
Lovely looking car in that colour and the convertible is almost as useful as a Targa in sunny Spain
Just waiting for the summer to arrive in SW France to get a photo of my Targa and my other air cooled car, a 2cv together with a backdrop of sunflowers
We could just swap tops 8) as I'm sure you know a Targa is a cab with a roof :thumb:
Funnily enough you mentioning sunflowers reminded me that we drove past fields of them (pic 3) and SWMBO took some pics so I've attached some of hers which do include a view or two while driving.
