996.1 cab C2 manual

A superb Sunday morning read and excellent to see you making what you wanted into what you want! Few people have the tenacity to prevent the decline of vehicles in the way you have and you should be commended. Keep up the sterling work!

Thanks for the kind words chaps.

Today I am at Centre Gravity- really, seriously impressed with Pete and Chris:

One thing to note- Design911 Ohlins stock is (potentially, mine is) from 2012 and therefore the spring perch will not work with the current springs.

Which is somewhat annoying.

Day one done, this is how we arrived:

And this is how the car sits at the end of day one (it won't be staying this low):

The geometry that we found was interesting - both rear wheels were pointing to the right, and the drivers side front wheel was also pointing to the right.

Pete said that it was as if someone had set out to design a specially for oversteering whilst turning left.

Here's why the rear wheels were doing this:

Much as I like the look of the ride height the car would not reach my flat- it'd beach on a speed bump on the way into London.

The wheels do, I think, look nice on the car- I shall let you know if I decide to sell them however.

I'm not actually using a DSLR- it's a rangefinder camera, specifically a Fuji X-Pro2. I have deleted many crap photographs this evening!
