Why no SSL? And a mobile view available?

Hi,

Why is there no SSL setup for this site? Given it can be free using Let's Encrypt or another ACME provider, it should be easy to get setup and not cost anything.

Also, is there any plans to get a responsive mobile view available?

Web and SSL things are my line of work, so I'd be more than happy to lend a hand.

Many thanks,
RL

it is in plan, without a SSL the site using other secure methods at this time

Yes, but "absolutely every" site should be secured with SSL, and have SSL enforced.

Plus SSL 2.0 is actually faster than plain HTTP traffic.

The concern is that, more so with Private Messages, people may be sending sensitive data which can be read, and stored, and potentially intercepted by every router that the traffic travels through.

In this day and age, SSL is just an absolute given - and now costs zero to run. Most services / hosting providers provide a LetsEncrypt integration which is a one click and it's setup affair - but obviously I have no idea of the hosting setup here :)

As said, I'd be happy to help (for free) :)
