So, after much lobbying from the 911UK transmission bush insert cognoscenti, I caved and ordered a set :



Having looked at your modified versions Alex, I note mine differ here :



So, do I need to remove the arrowed section outlined in red ?
 
I reckon it'll be fine leaving them in. It was most likely the big ears on the sides that were causing the NVH.
