2003 (03-plate) 911 Carrera in Speed Yellow with 6-speed manual transmission. 68,000 miles with full and comprehensive service history (15 services in the last 10 years at Porsche centres and recognised marque-specialists; see above). Owned by myself for over 3 years (from early 2010 to date). Active PCGB / 911UK member.

This car has been featured in multiple magazines including a 7-page '996 Buying Guide' feature in the September 2010 issue of 'Practical Performance Car' and is well-known to both Sports and Classic and Specialist Cars of Malton. Complete with Porsche 'Certificate of Authenticity'.

In addition to the standard factory build options (see above for details) in the last 18 months I have added stainless steel door guards, a 997 short-shift kit, front centre console delete kit and a full suspension refresh to M030-spec (including new springs, shocks, bushes, mounts, ARBs, control arms etc. totalling nearly £3000), all using genuine Porsche parts.

A fantastic example of a 996 Carrera 2 with some great options (sports seats, switchable sports exhaust, sports suspension, aerokit etc.) and in a signature Porsche colour, this car has been maintained to a very high standard with only genuine Porsche parts (with bills totalling almost £7000 in the last 3 years alone, not including recent tyres and forthcoming service). Comes complete with brand new Bosch battery (includes warranty), 4 brand new N3-rated Michelin Pilot Sport tyres, fully refurbished alloys (including centre-caps and bolts) and is MOT'd until February 2014. Will also be receiving a major service with a recognised Porsche-specialist before the sale, that will also include any required work completing (exhaust silencers require all bolts replacing for example).

Please PM for further details, or to discuss service history or any other aspect of the car.

£15,999

:floor: Pete, if you were to sell a couple of your cars that aren't Porsche you can justify buying this one.

I've always liked your car Ant, what are your plans ?

Selling a car just because someone's nicked your wheel centres seems a bit drastic.

Seriously Ant'. I hope your sale is for positive reasons and that its replacement is  .

Ant,

Good luck with sale mate.
At Millbrook last year your car was, for me, the stand out head turner. It looked absolutely immaculate, and that was even after your run down from Manchester!

Hope you will be staying with Porsche.

Thanks for the kind words! :thumb:

In no real rush to sell; circumstances have changed slightly in that rather than a lovely 50-mile round-trip commute out into the Cheshire countryside every day it's now 5 miles to a train station then a trip over the Pennines to Sheffield.

I don't want to use the 911 for that, it'll be knackered within 6 months (short journeys and station carparks  ) so I'm going to use the wife's Clio as my new 'daily' (Carrera-to-Clio! ) then buy her something else (with 5 doors; our first child arrives in September).

Which means I can sell the old 'daily' (911) and maybe get something really silly and impractical...!!

Oh, centrecaps now back from the refurb and re-fitted to the car last night. That nice Mr Weaver from Exel Wheels had posted them to my work address but I hadn't been in the office to retrieve them for about 2 weeks!! Top guy Chris, well recommended if you need anything tyre or wheel-related... :thumb:

Really looks a great buy , glwts

Now sold, to a top chap who already has a nice black X50 993 turbo and wanted a new toy to accompany it. On its way down to Upminster as I type; I know it'll be looked after... :thumb:
