Power Steering Pipe hose corrosion ; clamp work around?

Yup, was doing that.

Steering to the left slowly (noise), brought it slowly back to the centre - less noise. As expected.
Was just getting out to check level and I heard a "FTTTT".

FFS.

Looked under the car and sure enough liquid.

Checked my repair, and it's FINE, not even any misting.

So I've got another split/failure.

Wow.

SO near, and now just as far  :floor:

B@lls.

Don't worry too much about this, my jubilee clip repair has been fine for 5 years now and no plans to change or anytime soon!

Planning on doing mine this weekend.

FYI, just had another inspection this morning - looks like the pipes on the rack itself may have failed - as per the "common fault".

About £50 from Design911.

And a tonne of time and effort - looks easier to remove the rack, replace pipes and put back in :)
