Having failed to get the horn to work following a steering wheel swap on my 997.2 using my Foxwell tool fooling it to think it had an MF wheel I bit the bullet and bought a new control module from Porsche.

Anyway, took the car to a specialist today to have it fitted and they opted to try the MF trick first using PIWIS and the car accepted it, horn working....horn plural, looks like one of them is kapput

The lads disabled it again and ran through the programming step by step, it mirrored exactly what I'd done with the Foxwell 520 , which I'd also done on my gen 1 successfully, strange that the car wouldn't accept the scan tool tweak.

Anyway I now have a new unused gen2 column module available should anyone need one , part number 99761328901 , cost from OPC £311 , I'll take £250 + postage

Cheers
