For sale: Pioneer AVIC-F88 DAB Double DIN head unit / CD player / Sat Nav DAB radio etc.

All singing all dancing, top of the range unit. Capacitive touchscreen; highly responsive like iPhones. Very powerful inbuilt amp with gold RCA outs.

CarPlay and Google / Android compatible. Built in HERE maps.

Professionally fitted by Auto Audio in 2016 and professionally removed by Road Radio in Crawley in Jan 2020. I had it removed as at that time I planned to sell my car then COVID-19 happened and my plans changed. Have kept the car and now installed a PCCM Plus so the Pioneer is no longer required.

In excellent, used condition (no scratches on screen or visible marks to buttons etc) with original box, all manuals, parts (mic, gps, 2x USB extension), installation CD etc.

Also comes with custom made matt black plastic surround for Porsche 996.2 (with cup holder) and adaptor interface necessary for 996s / 997s with MOST optical audio system.

Parts plus fitting were c. £1800 in 2016 of which at least £1200 were the parts.

Am after £600 or nearest offer. Open to less for just the head unit. I also have a remote control which works with the unit for another £30.

Pics of the installed unit attached. Will add more pics of the part in the box etc when time allows.

Any questions please let me know.

Thinking about this for the wifes 997.1

Does it come with the interface leads for MOST/BOSE and steering wheel controls?

Does it have MOST interfaces to make it plug and play in he 996.2 with the parts you have?

Does it interface with the PCM at all or is that just on the dash screen?

thanks
Mike

Sorry for the delay in replying.

All cables that come with it are shown. I believe the MOST interface is included and is the cable with two black block connectors one side and one the other. This is what was put back in the box by Road Radio when I asked them to take it out for me.

No steering wheel interface included and I don't believe one was available from Pioneer (for either the 996 or 997). I've heard some people have managed workarounds for this.

As far as I'm aware there is no inter connectivity / compatibility with the PCM.

Best to check on all of the above points elsewhere though.
