Dual row IMS snap ring specs

The interference fit of the bearing will probably do a better job of that than a 1mm thin snap ring.
 
I may be 1000% wrong here, but I thought that the "snap ring" in question sits in a groove in the bearing half way down the length of the outer bearing race and down the bore of the bearing bore, so holds the bearing in place from there , so when you pull it out/push it in it snaps into position :dont know:

So there is no circlip from the IMS bearing cover plate end :dont know:
