The flying Scot has now won an incredible 3 x times Indycar Champ titles and is a 2 x times Indy 500 winner.......brilliant!
Franchitti has done what few(if any) have ever been able to do across the pond.
With Dixon winning the race the whole Chip Ganassi/Target team can celebrate an amazing team result and achievement for 2010.
Never seen Ganassi so emotional with a driver after the race.
Championship leader Will Power's race ended when he hit the wall and had to retire.
Englishman Alex Lloyd wins rookie of the year award.
