Cranking but won''t start, CPS or fuel pump?

Is this not a high pressure fuel pump fault ? Do you have any codes on this ?

Good call to be fair as we are into a possible fuel pressure issue .. but unfortunately that's 997 and gen 2 onwards with the dfi engine ... 2009 model year ... not fitted on a 996 i'm afraid .

I actually am replacing one on a Boxster 2009 at work .. nasty job on these as you have to drop the engine .

You get fault codes for low fuel pressure if it is this ... they also run like a sack but do start .

Garage diagnosis was the fuel pump relay, I nipped into Porsche Sheffield who had one in stock for £18, back to the garage who fitted it and she fired up straight away. No charge from the garage despite my insistence, he said put it down to experience.

Aren't garages brilliant 😄
