Cleaning running lights

Hi guys.
Quick question, can anyone tell me if the running lights are a sealed unit?
As you can see from the image they're really foggy on the inside.
Don't really want to remove them unless I know they can be cleaned.
Cheers.

Is this definitely on the inside? Looks like the usual pitting in the plastic on the outside.

This is easy to polish out to as new and then you put a new coat of UV protectant on them.

In any case yes these are sealed but you can use a heat gun to open them up.

They also come out super easy. In the car book cover you should have a credit card size white but of plastic. You use it on the on the inside edge between the light and the bumper and push in until the light pops out. Instructions are easy to find online and in the manual.

Cheers for that....I did give it a little go with some Meguiars Plast.Rx but then assumed it was all on the inside, maybe I'll pop out the lights and give them a good thorough going over with my DA polisher.....and post a pic of the finished result.
Thanks again

Not perfect but much, much better.
Cheers

Great result!

Wet sanding will help get the deeper stuff out too so if you were really bothered you could give that a go but I think for what sounds like a quick job they are looking much improved!

Yes, well done from me as well.

I have always steered clear of sanding as it always leaves scratches.

The way i have done it is to polish with a harsher compound such as firecla G3 then G10 and finally a high gloss finish polish.

I also found T cut works well when hand applied.

I had this with the driving lights as well, in fact one was terrible. Trying to hand polish I found way to difficult that didn't offer great results. So I picked up this (per below link) from our local auto shop, popped the light out (which is super simple) and polished away. Took around an hour in total but the results were fantastic.... https://www.supercheapauto.co.nz/p/...it/366467.html#q=Headlight&lang=en_NZ&start=6
