Trantorman, many thanks for the heads-up relative to the auction and the realities for some seeking to convert Classics back into cash, that and the "failings" of some Porsche "specialists" in recent months seems to hint that the market may well be past peak Porsche evaluation in terms of cash value..?

However those that bought for other than investment ideals can still enjoy the REAL value of Porsche ownership when they sit behind the wheel with a nice twisting road viewed out through the windscreen...(-: Must admit that particular 993 had me overly interested..(-:

Well it didnt sell and I am very torn having just driven it home.

It got to £33k which I guess with fees is £37,950 which was really close to the reserve.

I still have someone who wants it but am seriosuly tempted to build another garage fit Ps10's to and keep it long term.

Having spent £10k on it recently it is exacly (minus the PS10's) how I would want a 911.

Only isuse is I have just abought another two seater so now have 4 very impractical cars ... aparenttly !!
