Any thoughts on this Cat S 991.2

Very good comments and advice above

One key issue is the way it drives -if it is comparable to another non CAT S then this would tell alot about the quality of the repair (pulling up in a straight line and tracking straight etc)

From what i understand It was damaged in his ownership 4 years ago, he got it repaired and has been driving it since. I have seen the damaged pictures.
Apparently turned down a £55k bid from a dealer.
Id say somewhere between that £55k and the asking of £62.5k would buy it. At a guess £57.5k, just a guess though.

I'd say to him if he's been offered £55K by a dealer he should take it!! I'd be pretty sure no dealer would offer that. In my experience they are much more cautious than private buyers as they really don't want to catch a cold on a car.

Why not say you'll offer the same as the dealer, and give him a quick sale? Or very slightly more maybe. I'm sure he'd prefer it to go to an owner / driver than into the trade.
