Hi

Just in case of use to anybody for inspiration. For the front speakers I went with Focal 165 K2 speakers. With a bit of fiddling the tweeters can actually be fitted within the stock tweeter pods:

and the crossovers hidden right at the front of the door bins (so that you can't see them):

With some sound deadening added to the doors they sound great.

To drive the focals I needed an amplifier and we used a Helix M Four. A German made amplifier for a German car...
Fitted nicely within the spare wheel (mounting board held with velcro so easily removeable):

The rears were a bit more difficult and so I ended up ordering Kenwood Excelon KFC-X463C from the USA. Sound good and fit under the stock (non hi-fi) grilles:

Finally to add some bass we managed to fit a JBL Bass Pro Subwoofer under the passenger seat:

Really pleased with it all and sounds enormously better than stock.
All fitted by Shocks Away in Ash Vale (just by Camberley/Aldershot and just outside the M25/London on the M3. Work with a lot of Porsche's (they had a lovely 1974 in when I was there) and a neat install.

Even cleaned the car before I picked it up:

Photos to follow when I work out where to host.

Any pics of the door bins ? And the sun under the seat etc.

Looking to upgrade mine. I went with standard front door speakers and they are rubbish especially now that I'm deleting the rears with the parcel shelf for an RS carpet.

Cheers
