991.1 911 Dash Cam Installation

Good afternoon ladies and gents,

I've purchased Thinkware Dashcam setup for my 2013 991.1.

My main priority for this installation was to utilise the Parking mode. However, the 12V cigarette port does not switch off when the ignition is turned off and car is locked.

I've bought a plug in battery also from Thinkware. The reason for this was to avoid having to hardwire the dashcam system to the car as I didn't want to risk impacting my 3 year warranty.

Has anyone else had this issue with dash cam installation via the 12V?

Also, has anyone got any recommended dash cam installers in Warwickshire?
