Carbon for Guards Red

Yes, a higher grade does make a true difference, due to the higher concentrations of White Carnauba as opposed to Yellow Carnauba found in starter waxes such as Carbon/Creame etc. Concours for example contains 90% White and only 10% Yellow.

Multiple coats will increase the depth of shine and provide more protection for the paintwork.

You might want to read my zymol buyers guide here>

Thanks Phil. Has anyone had experience with the zymol colored wax such as the rouge???

Would it be the end of the world if creame is used on a dark coloured car? I have got a dark green car that I want to give a good brush up to before selling it, but our other cars are light colours, so I don't want to invest in both polishes.

Hi Richard,

It would only become noticable if you were to put quite a few layers of wax on, then you *might* see a slight lightening of the colour - obviously the wax is easily removed using HD Cleanse if this does happen.

This looks interesting - and gets good writeups on Rennlist.com

Zainobros.com

However having had Zymol full kit in the garage for a year I finally used the polish yesterday - very easy to put on and wipe off and a stunning result!

I would say Zaino products are more of a budget polish than a professional wax system, similar to Autoglym, Turtle wax etc.

Having explored the Zymol guide, I was all ready to make a purchase then saw the "it takes a total of 4 hours to clean, apply etc". Living in Central London with no off street parking and being the sort of bloke that does not want to spend 4hours on a car, does anyone know a garage that will do a good zymol valet?

Answers will be much appreciated

Hi Phil

Does destiny wax need to be stored in the fridge? I only have a sampler tub and it doesn't mention on it.

Thanks

Mark

Hi Mark,

Yes, if you've opened it.

Hi Phil,

How does it affect the wax if I haven't refrigerated it? It has been kept in the garage in a cool spot.

Thanks again

Mark
