I have recently got myself a pushbike and am really enjoying peddling around the local countryside with my eldest daughter. (Those of you who know me, please refrain from laughing).

My question is twofold.

1. Can you get bike carrying systems for 911's

2. Is it considered naff to do so.

Thanks

Have no views on the naffness issue, but I think you can get a roof mounted carrier. I've seen a 964 cab with a rack on the back, although how that affects the spoiler I don't know and there have been a few mentions in 911 & Porsche World about a roof rack for the 993, so I imagine there must be something for yours. Tried the OPC?

Thanks

Dave, have you managed to get up Turners Hill yet without stopping? After that, it's Ditchling Beacon!

I remember Ditchling Beacon on the London to Brighton. Not fun.

i'm 99% there is a bike carrier for the 993 and you can still see all the 996 bike carrying attachments on the Porsche website, plusd those for 997 of course

would it be naff? - i'm not the one to ask, but imo it is cool not naff. Bikes are good as they are cheap to run, keep you fit and tick all the gadget-geek boxes you could ever wish for.

Ah yes, the T Mobile strip. Personally would not have relished telling Jan Ullrich before he left the team that he looked like a sissy in pink!
