will 993C4 engine mounts fit my 964C4 Targa

will 993C4 engine mounts fit my 964C4 Targa,
I have googled it and was happy to order them from my local independant,
but they are not so sure, they think targa mounts are different and therefore not interchangeable.
can anybody confirm ,I can use 993C4 mounts on my 964C4 targa .
I want use use 993 because they are almost £100 cheaper each !.

Steve - Yes they will :thumb:

I've put a set of 993 C4 mounts in mine. The only thing that wont fit will be the triangular washer which most turn round or replace with one that does fit.

TBH I didn't notice any real difference after they were fitted (mine had sagged to a finger dept) but now they've bedded in gear change is better and perhaps helped by new g/box oil :dont know:

I have ordered them now, I too am hoping for a less notchy gearchange, Whatever happens it should be an improvement as mine need changing anyway ( I can get a finger in mine too )
