I've had quite a few emails from people commenting that they keep seeing and hearing Zymol being metioned, but aren't really sure what all the fuss is about. In response to this, I've created a one page explaination on vertar.com, to read it, please follow this link:

Cheers,

Very good history. I was one who wasn't converted (probably because I hate my car) but will be as soon as the 993 becomes mine.

I'm not up on modern chat. Fill me in on LOL.

My guesses are;

Lots Of Love

or

Laugh out Loud

Take you pick!!! :)

OK- Laugh out Loud it is. I got my car during a Liquidation I was doing so it was very cheap and it was a no brainer to buy it. I am not too keen and my friends call it Octogenarian Silver. I get mocked without mercy.

Unfortunately my wife loves it and everyone comments it is a classy car. I think they just say that because they are surprised I am not 65 with driving gloves and a flat bunnet. (flat cap to you southerners)

I am having a hard time convincing my wife (financial controller) to change to a smaller car with a faster engine which is older and more expensive (993 TT)

Still the battle goes on and I will be successful.

Good luck Steven, Never driven an XK8, I think I'm just too young :wink:

So am I (29). It is a XKR and can really fly but getting waved at by 65 year olds and people obviously going through a mid life crisis takes it's toll.

People also assume it is my Dad's. This gets a bit wearing as well.

It is also in my eyes the same colour as a hearing aid.

Sell it! Life's too short :lol:

You're right. Life is too short to be driving a hearing aid.

Top Marques in earnest next week. Will keep everyone posted regarding my rebirth as a youngster. I believe most people trade their Jags for a bus pass not another car. :twisted:
