Owed money but still wants to help Lotus finish the season and I am sure it wll be 100% Kimi this weekend also.

Maybe Di Resta et all should stay put/look elsewhere.
 
Kimi is a top driver who commands a top salary which only the likes of Ferrari, McLaren, Mercedes and RBR can really afford.

Lotus for all their successes are really punching above their own weight in terms of grid position and owe a lot to Kimi. His £6.7 million basic salary is unaffordable for a team of Lotus size. PDR, Hulkenberg and probably Massa will all ask for a lot less and would make it affordable.

It's a bit like Gareth Bale at Tottenham. For all Bale's brilliance Spurs can not compete with the likes of Real Madrid financially or team investment.
