Dealer said this 2008 GT3 belonged to a forum member. Anyone know who the previous owner(s) are?

Thank you. Yes, really pleased. Threw it up Prescott Hill on Wednesday and it performed exactly as I had hoped. Comfortable drive down there, exciting blast up the hill and a comfortable drive back.

Quite a lot of tyre roar on the older stretches of motorway and the odd scuff of the front splitter here and there, but all to be expected.

Now wondering when everyone is going to Spa! :D

On reflection, I didn't give you much to go on did I?! It was up in Harrogate N. Yorks, previous owner looks to have been Newcastle based from the book. Wanted a bit of background on it, but the inspection came back golden so I just went for it. Now looking for as many Sprints, Hill Climbs and Track Days as I can find!

Yeah that roar as you reach 5000 rpm is really quite special. I won't tire of that any time soon!

I have a couple of quiet cringeworthy questions as a new owner, perhaps you may be able to give me a steer?

1) Sport Mode - My understanding is that Sport Mode calms the traction control interference, sharpens the steering, gives a sportier engine map (oh rly!?) and does something to the rear silencer. My question is, does it affect the low end grunt or just the top? Up Prescott Hill (only 1st and 2nd gears), I wasn't overwhelmed by the difference, besides a louder roar.

2) When I switch to route guidance, then back to main, I get the map in the main screen window. Frustratingly, it seems to centre on the middle of the UK, rather than tracking the position of the car. I have a static map of Derby on my dash, regardless of where I am in the UK! Can I change that to centre on my position? :grin:
