Not interested in your girlfriends or wives or boyfriends but when did you fall for the P Cars we all like to talk about so much! Personally, I think it must be that moment in that movie Condor Man where the baddies rock up in black 911's - one of the coolest scenes ever! I want the movie just for that scene!!!

Cant remeber exactly when, however I think I was in Primary school and one of the dads drooped his son off in a green 911, about 1975 ish.

Just thought wow.

Ah - great memories I bet. I am jealous (in a nice way) when I see young kids jumping out of a 911. Whe I was a kid I used to wish my old man would buy a nice sports car!!!! I still wish he would buy one!!!!!

My dad bought a Hillman Imp a couple of years to park next to his BMW and Jaguar!

My mum freaked out! Mostly because it didn't actually drive. It was supposed to be his project! Sat around for a couple of years before he paid for it to be removed!!!

1971 after watching the opening sequence of the film Le Mans where Michael Delaney drives his schiefergrau 911S (now owned by Steve McQueen's son Chad) from his hotel to the circuit. I was 16 years old and I never stopped wanting one from that day on, though it was more lust than love.

My dad had a a morris minor estate. He said he used to varnish the wood frames on it every year. He was a clean climber too and once parked it on a hill up in Scotland. The handbrake failed over night and he found his car in the morning in a hedge. :D

1st car I remember of his was a small blue escort van which isn't really a car but the only mode of transport we had.
