Hi everybody,

I am a new member after some specialist help with my 944 1983 I would like to update the current wheels on the vehicle and constantly find myself looking at 911 or boxter wheels, the question is will they fit?

If not what are the problems I might endure.

Many Thanks

Best place to look is on the PCGB forum - big 944 section there and plenty of people to give good advice.

hi richard.......

dunno if its any help to you but.......ive actually have a set of design 90´s(from a 964 model 911) fitted on my early 86 reg´d 924S(so should be the same running gear as your 944) and have had no problems whatsoever with them................AFAIK most 5 stud Porsche wheels from the 80´s and 90´s will fit but you might need to use spacers to get the offset correct...............

I've a set of 16" Cups (beleive they are OEM) off my 964 that I'm about to put on e-bay. they're still at the shop that swapped them for a 17" set so I'd need to speak to them about the offsets for you. I need to arrange for them to ship them back to me anyhow so will ask them about the key details and overall condition..

let me know if you are interested..

I always thought that Fuchs on a 944 looked good........................
