Emailed the chap who replied "make me an offer, hard to put a price on it with all the work that has gone into it".

'W' reg 996, cat D, not sure about the mileage.

I'd like to hear your opinion please.......

Cheers, Martin

Do you really want a 997 thats a 996, would be a struggle for resale too I'd think...?

I'd say it is worth the same as a normal Cat D 996 car. (that's what it is, isn't it?)

As he says, very hard to value... the mods have to count for something, so I'd reckon somewhere between a cat d and a normal low miles 2000 C2. It will be a hard car to place though in the future.

Another question- what would it be worth if it was a conversion of a perfectly good i.e. non cat-d car?

Quite appealing though I thought in the mag- I love the 997, but I wouldn't pay £60k plus for one, knowing that it will lose a packet over the next couple of years. Would it really be nearly 3 times better than a £25k 996?

it would be nice to go a bit further with a 3.8 conversion by Autofarm...

What's it worth? I think a simple case of what someone is prepared to pay for it.
