What does this hose do?

Was tinkering in the engine bay of my car at the weekend and noticed that the rubber hose shown in the photo is a bit perished around the connection to the plastic connector and hard line. Hose is on the near side of the car behind the coolant reservoir.

Question: what does the hose do? And what is the part number for replacement? I've looked in the Porsche parts catalog but can't make out the right part.

I agree, looks like the fuel line. On the turbo, that's where the fuel filter sits and the rubber hose is part of the filter, so you get a new one when it's changed. Not sure about the NA though.

Thanks for the replies. It goes into Northway for a 5k oil change on Monday so I'll get them to have a look.
