What did you buy your 997 this week?

Front suspension top mounts, plus all new front and rear strut parts for a nice refurb job
Eibach lowering springs
OZ Ultraleggera alloys
Quickjack 5000TL

Nice winter project coming, few more bits to buy. Wheels to be painted weiss gold (currently black)

I think if you have Bose you lose the fader.

Oh i see, yes mine works, speakers are knackered though so its upgrade for those next

my pse was crumbling so bit the bullet and went for the full topgear valved exhaust with manifolds and 200 cell cats, also grabbed some zunsport grills while
i was at it, hopefully fitted in the next few days

Just thought i would update this incase anyone else was ever looking for reviews on the exhaust, with the topgear exhaust i went for the switchable with 200 cell cats x pipe and manifolds, genuinely cant believe the difference, very very pleased with how it sounds and the car seems more responsive also. money well spent and now the plan is to enjoy it

I bought an umbrella to fit in the slot in the passenger sill. I doubt I will ever go out in the rain (I know everyone will say the car is for driving and drive it in the rain etc etc but I probably won’t.) I still wanted one anyway.

Most people don’t get that but I expect some people on here will. To make my OCD appear worse I bought one on EBay which is actually from A 992. I hope it fits but more importantly does that count as a modification to my totally original car

Ha, so its the back of your head getting hit if your struts are shot and your chin getting whacked if you replace them!
